Dreams can’t die

There are two inmates sharing laundry duties this week of december. Throughout the week they don’t say a word to each other  but today was not like any other day.

”How much time do you have left?” one of the men asked the other as he folds the clothes.

” I have about 33 days left. I’ve been in here for almost two years.”

”Wow, not bad. What do you plan to do when you get out?”

”Nothing, find a job, a wife and probably have a child.”

”That’s sounds like a miraculous thing.”

”What about you? How much do you have left? Young-blood.”

”I’m in here for life, but if i keep up with the good behavior, maybe I’ll see the sun again from the other side.”

And for these who want to end where they stand always remember how there is hope everywhere.

Even in the belo of the beast.
